Human Factors Engineering
We are
currently seeking Human Factors Engineers (HFE) with at least five years
experience in the practice of HFE design, integration, and test to
support contracts with government and private industry in the United
States.
Locations:
Various. Some travel will be required.
Job Description:
-
Apply knowledge of
MIL-STD-1472, MIL-H-46855,
and
related Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) to assist in the design and
testing of weapons, logistics, command, control, computer, &
communications (C4), and related systems
-
Work within
the
larger Integrated Product Team environment, develop HFE related
requirements
-
Conduct
traditional task analyses including task inventories, task flows,
workload assessments and related products
-
Develop
and
administer human factors developmental and operational testing methods
and procedures
-
Identify personnel
and manning requirements
-
Assist in the
development of training requirements for operator and maintainer
personnel
-
Identify new clients
for our established consultancy business
Successful candidates should have the following education and experience:
-
Education:
-
Minimum.
Associates
Degree with at least 10 years military experience in operation
and/or maintenance in one or more weapons systems
-
Desired.
Bachelors Degree in Human Factors Engineering, Experimental
Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or related area.

Preferred.
Graduate Degree in the above areas.

Experience:

Reference-based
track record as a human factors engineering practitioner

Experience working
with other engineers and scientists, and with senior management
-
Proven ability to
work face-to-face with key clients

A desire to work
as part of a team
