Since 1980, the staff of TGO has been involved in almost every type of T&E. Starting with Developmental Testing (DT) support to the US Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity (AMSAA), and expanding to Operational Testing (OT) at the Air Force Operational Test Center (AFOTEC), TGO personnel have been involved in all phases of testing, from test planning to hands on data collection, and programmatic support to Department of Defense T&E agencies. While much of the T&E activity has focused on human systems integration T&E, additional areas of expertise have been added, including reliability engineering T&E, logistics supportability T&E, and others. As a T&E generalist, TGO has is often contracted to design test programs, and to support those programs through entire life cycle acquisition programs.

TGO staff currently provides human factors testing and evaluation support to the U.S. Air Force 17th Test Squadron, Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado. Systems under test include satellite ground control, command and control, and communications systems.
