TGO’s senior associates have many years of experience (both personally and cumulatively) in the practice of human systems integration (HSI). HSI (also known as Human Factors Engineering, or simply, Human Factors) is a general term that involves designing, testing, and evaluating human-system interfaces. TGO staff members are well acquainted with the US Army Manpower and Personnel Integration (MANPRINT) Program, which includes seven elements program (manpower, personnel, training, human factors engineering, system safety, health hazards, and personnel survivability). Additionally, TGO associates have a well rounded understanding of how HSI fits within the larger realm of systems engineering. Some of our staff are authors of some of the original written works on usability engineering, testing and evaluation methods and practices. Specialties within HSI focus on research and development, design, and testing & evaluation of complex, stand-alone and integrated systems. Our staff members possess various professional credentials, and have achieved at least a Masters Degree, with many possessing Ph.D.s.
