As a subcontractor to BAH, TGO supports the J34; plans and conducts vulnerability
and risk assessments, site surveys, recon and security surveys, and provides
analysis of Strategic, Operational and Tactical (S/O/T) threat assessments for
HQ US Northern Command. This can include coordination at all levels with
multi-national, inter-agency partners, DoD agencies and activities. TGO
monitors/facilitates the dissemination of terrorist threat information and
provides recommendations regarding potential responses to terrorist threats
and/or incidents and risk assessment for allocation of resources to develop
counter-measures, or additional security measures to mitigate the threat. TGO
helps develop documents for Government acceptance and integration into the
strategic vulnerability and risk assessment plans, policies and procedures in
support of USNORTHCOM Force Protection (FP) activities. Additional and
supporting Annexes and appendices are prioritized and developed after the
initial operational procedures are staffed and approved. These include:
Logistics; Public Affairs; FP Command and Control; C4; Health Protection;
Vulnerability Assessments and Self Assessments; FP Planning; FP Training
Requirements; Physical Security; CBRNE Defense; Antiterrorism (AT) Resource
Management; Risk Assessment; and Glossary.
Additionally, TGO recommends methods to expand and improve the NORTHCOM
vulnerability assessment methodology and benchmarks and helps assess emerging
vulnerability assessment and risk management hardware and software applications.
Additionally, TGO staff supports watch standing positions at the Theater NetOps
Control Center. The TNCC conducts 24x7 NetOps to gain and share understanding of
the information domain in the USNORTHCOM Area of Responsibility to ensure the
DoD information domain supports command and mission partners' operations; and
executes NetOps essential tasks to provide assured net-centric services
supporting the Combatant Command’s and mission partners’ full spectrum of
warfighting, intelligence and business missions.
Also, TGO Information Exchange Broker (IEB) staff assists NORAD-USNORTHCOM J6, J3
and J4 in the development of information sharing capabilities, Government
approved policies and procedures and assist in the development, coordination and
implementation of an information sharing/synchronization to include the
implementation of comprehensive procedures, processes for information sharing
within and external to the Commands and inclusion of information
sharing/synchronization in all key documentation of operational information
sharing.
TGO also provides senior professional staff to support the Integrated Air and
Missile Defense Support Directorate for USNORAD/NORTHCOM/J31. TGO staff prepares
Concept of Operations for senior N/NC leadership and other (classified) duties.
